Goldilocks and the three dinosaurs story6/25/2023 ![]() ![]() The narrator of the story is quite sarcastic, so readers who are old enough to pick up on sarcasm will really enjoy the story and appreciate its humor. Readers who are aware of the traditional story of “Goldilocks and The Three Bears” will find Willems’ take on the story a humorous twist. The lesson for the three dinosaurs is: Make sure to lock the back door. The lesson for Goldilocks is: When you are in the wrong story, leave. ![]() The last two pages of the book outline the two lessons/morals of the story. Goldilocks panics and realizes she is not in a bear’s house, but a dinosaur’s house! She manages to run out the back door before the three dinosaurs come rushing through the front door. Suddenly she hears one of the dinosaurs outside of the house talking about a delicious little girl stuffed with chocolate pudding. ![]() ![]() She eats all of the chocolate pudding (because everyone loves chocolate!) and tries to sit on the chairs and rest in the beds. Once the three dinosaurs leave their house, Goldilocks comes for a visit and enters the house without a care in the world.
